However, when writing song titles, there are a few rules that have to be followed. The first and last words should always be capitalized to provide the effect of the song title. Of course, articles, conjunctions and prepositions that are less than five letters long neednt be capitalized in the song title. Prepositions are only capitalized if they are the first or last word of the song title. Even prepositions that are part of a two-word phrase, like Come On, have to be capitalized in the song title. Even remember that the short words like also, if, than, when have to be capitalized in the song title.
